Inspired by the History, Style & Romance of Italy. Creating certified organic olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and wine.
The History Villa Gabriella’s beginnings date back to the mid 1800’s when the Ceccatelli family established their retail shop in the historic town of Greve in Chianti. The gateway to the famed Chianti region in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, Greve was known for its Saturday market where livestock & foodstuffs were sold in the central square-Piazza Matteotti. Because of its strategic position as the nucleus of the town, the square was a perfect location for the family to establish their business. Here they served customers the highest quality meat & poultry.
Yesterday Paolo Fagotti carried on the tradition his forefathers established, together with his mother Gabriella & her younger sister Graziella. They offered local Tuscan specialties including cheese, extra virgin olive oil, truffles & wine with distribution to fine restaurants in Italy & Europe. Later they purchased a parcel of land in the heart of the Chianti Classico area & named it in honor of his mother. Villa Gabriella is poised on a hill embraced by century old olive groves & ancient vineyards dating back to the 15th century. The family lovingly restored the hamlet, bringing it back to its original charm & authentic architecture. The fruits of its vineyard & olive grove produced exceptional quality oil & wine in limited artisanal batches.
