Our Facilitators

Our facilitators each have hundreds of hours of prevention education training and utilize highly effective, engaging methods of teaching and conversation facilitation to ensure participants understand how to create and maintain safe and inclusive communities.

Programs are developed by liftUPlift Co-Founders, Corielle Heath Laaspere and Rachel Borg. Corielle holds degrees in Psychology and Social Psychology from Lehigh University, while Rachel earned her Psychology degree from Ball State University. They have trained over 10,000 bystander intervention allies over the last 15-years, in partnership with the United Nations and as a special envoy of the US State Department.

The concept of bystander intervention is simple: People helping people in difficult situations. However, intervention can be tricky in practice. Our trainings equip participants with knowledge and skills to recognize early warning signs and effectively speak up and step in to help others.
